People who have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome are both blessed and cursed. For the most parts, they are relieved by an explanation regarding the sudden plunge in their health. However, they are also cursed by the fact that there is nothing much they can do about it because the cure for CFS is yet to be discovered. Nonetheless, there are medications, therapies and self-care techniques that a person can undergo which can help substantially in relieving the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome. Here are some suggestions.

Handle your sickness and do not let it handle you
Chronic disorders and illnesses often demand a lot from patients in order for them to control the symptoms. However, the best course of action is to always take the hand in controlling the disorder. If you have spent months or years suffering from this syndrome, it is likely that you have developed a sense of helpless and defeat against the disorder. But this must not be the case. Gain back control and know how to handle the disorder.

Look for simple but effective solutions
Not all CFS treatment may work for you. This is because while there is a general clinical definition of the disorder, there are various levels of severity whereby it occurs. So if you think your prescribed medications are not doing you much good, pass and try to look elsewhere for symptoms relief. There is a host of treatment and therapies you can use which oftentimes go beyond conventional medicine.
Try to look for those. Consult herbalists and alternative medicine therapists and seek treatments that will help your disorder. Ask your doctor about supplements instead of antibiotics and pain relievers. Go to a psychologist and ask whether there are therapies you can undergo to facilitate better coping with your illness. Donít be limited by pharmacological treatments, experiment on various options and pick some that provide you the most benefits.

Take lessons from each day
With chronic fatigue, you are lucky if you don’t feel sick for one day. So for the most parts, you can take note of your symptoms and your responses to treatments and therapies. It is important to keep a journal of your daily experience as this can help guide you on how to better manage your disorder.

Take charge of your healthcare
Take an active role in facilitating the delivery of healthcare services for yourself. If what your doctor gives you does not work, find someone else. Donít be afraid to get second or third opinion from doctors who are expert in immune system dysfunction. If you don’t respond well to conventional medicine, find other treatments.

Move your body
For most patients, the idea of doing some physical activities is not only impossible but unthinkable. Nonetheless, recent studies have shown that minor physical activities pick up one’s energy and health so try undergoing exercise programs. Try graded exercise therapy, for example. According to recent studies, this therapy improves the physical energy and capacity of an individual with chronic fatigue syndrome.
While it is of course hard for the first few months, first few years even, it is always worth the effort. Eventually, with a little activity done each day, the body will regain the strength and vigor that once were available prior to the onset of chronic fatigue.

Everybody speaks about Tai Chi but how many actually know what it is?

I  have to admit the first time I ever saw somebody doing this odd silent ‘dance’ I thought they were absolutely nuts.

In fact in my highly charged highly stressed days I actually got angry!

But you know what? I really didn’t know what they were doing.

As Mel Smith once said (in a comedy routine) Tai Chi? It’s the art of directing traffic in the park!

Laugh if you want (I did) but Tai Chi is definitely what you would call an ‘internal’ art.

Or is it?

Yes it is an internal art but it has external benefits too.  In fact there are many physical and mental benefits.

Tai Chi is a few thousand years old in origination and during that time the exercises change according to the Master. However they really are still in keeping with the original ideas.

Many families in China learnt and kept their forms of Tai Chi a secret. In fact at one point it was only done by the upper or ruling classes.

Over time the secrets came out and now anybody and everybody can learn Tai Chi and related arts.

So back to when I was looking at all these “loonies’ in the park in London I was angry and I suppose I was jealous too.

I really didn’t see the point of doing it but some voice inside me told me to do something about it.

I didn’t of course.

Until I was injured in a car accident and then I had no choice but to give up running and gym training.

Fate took a hand and I found out my gym instructor was also a Tai Chi teacher.

But what a shock I had when I discovered that the most important thing I had to learn was that Tai Chi is actually a Martial Art!

Its true every move is a Martial Art Move and must be treated as such otherwise there is no feeling in it.

Anyway 25 years later I am still looking at people doing Tai Chi and thinking they are funny. Only these days the person I’m laughing at is usually me doing it.

I laugh at how stupid I was at not trying to understand this extraordinary art which is the origin of all Martial Arts and many western exercise systems.

I met Jim Graham at a Social Media Summit about a month ago, where he  spoke on Being The Internet Middle Man. This was the second time I was listening to him, I could see a big transformation from the first time I heard him speak, you could tell he is walking the talk.  More so, It was great to see a real life person tell his story, so I grabbed him do to a quick video for The Bod.  Enjoy!

Here is a little profile on Jim.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Jim Graham – Ive been in the off-line business world for over 20 years. Car washing was my expertise and passion until the end of 2007 when the US economy took a nose dive. Banks would no longer loan money for car washes and my business of consulting and equipment quickly came to a halt.

I got hooked at the World Internet Summit in Melbourne, Australia. Really Amazing! I learned more in 4 days than I had in 20 plus years of internet use. I really could not believe the kind of business that could be generated until that four days.

Today Jim is the CEO of Xpress IM, LLC – He is called The Internet Middle Man

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We will have more on Jim coming soon.

So I thought that I might write a quick review of every self-help book ever written all right here in this one little article. Simple enough. I love the easy jobs. Surely it couldn’t be that hard, could it? I figured that maybe I could take the important lessons from every self-help book I’ve read and every life experience I’ve endured, condense all that into fifty key points and save everybody a whole bunch of reading time. Sure, global book sales in the self-help field might take a down-turn for a decade or so, but I’m willing to take that chance and put in a solid sixty minutes (or so) work for the good of humanity; my gift to mankind.

Selfless I know.

I thought that perhaps I could follow Stephen Covey’s lead (the Seven Habits) and come up with my own list of say… Fifty Habits (in truth, some of them are more qualities, than habits). It couldn’t be too difficult to distill all those millions of words, tens of thousands of books and that vast well of information, inspiration, wisdom and insight which has been collated over the centuries into one teensy-weensy article by the ex-fat kid (me). Who else could be better qualified?

Don’t answer that.

Habits of successful people….

1. They look for and find opportunities where others see nothing.

2. They find a lesson while others only see a problem.

3. They are solution focused.

4. They consciously and methodically create their own success, while others hope success will find them.

5. They are fearful like everyone else, but they are not controlled or limited by fear.

6. They ask the right questions – the ones which put them in a productive, creative, positive mindset and emotional state.

7. They rarely complain (waste of energy). All complaining does is put the complainer in a negative and unproductive state.

8. They don’t blame (what’s the point?). They take complete responsibility for their actions and outcomes (or lack thereof).

9. While they are not necessarily more talented than the majority, they always find a way to maximise their potential. They get more out of themselves. They use what they have more effectively.

10. They are busy, productive and proactive. While most are laying on the couch, planning, over-thinking, sitting on their hands and generally going around in circles, they are out there getting the job done.

11. They align themselves with like-minded people. They understand the importance of being part of a team. They create win-win relationships.

12. They are ambitious; they want amazing – and why shouldn’t they? They consciously choose to live their best life rather than spending it on auto-pilot.

13. They have clarity and certainty about what they want (and don’t want) for their life. They actually visualise and plan their best reality while others are merely spectators of life.

14. They innovate rather than imitate.

15. They don’t procrastinate and they don’t spend their life waiting for the ‘right time’.

16. They are life-long learners. They constantly work at educating themselves, either formally (academically), informally (watching, listening, asking, reading, student of life) or experientially (doing, trying)… or all three.

17. They are glass half full people – while still being practical and down-to-earth. They have an ability to find the good.

18. They consistently do what they need to do, irrespective of how they are feeling on a given day. They don’t spend their life stopping and starting.

19. They take calculated risks – financial, emotional, professional, psychological.

20. They deal with problems and challenges quickly and effectively, they don’t put their head in the sand. They face their challenges and use them to improve themselves.

21. They don’t believe in, or wait for fate, destiny, chance or luck to determine or shape their future. They believe in, and are committed to actively and consciously creating their own best life.

22. While many people are reactive, they are proactive. They take action before they have to.

23. They are more effective than most at managing their emotions. They feel like we all do but they are not slaves to their emotions.

24. They are good communicators and they consciously work at it.

25. They have a plan for their life and they work methodically at turning that plan into a reality. Their life is not a clumsy series of unplanned events and outcomes.

26. Their desire to be exceptional means that they typically do things that most won’t. They become exceptional by choice. We’re all faced with live-shaping decisions almost daily. Successful people make the decisions that most won’t and don’t.

27. While many people are pleasure junkies and avoid pain and discomfort at all costs, successful people understand the value and benefits of working through the tough stuff that most would avoid.

28. They have identified their core values (what is important to them) and they do their best to live a life which is reflective of those values.

29. They have balance. While they may be financially successful, they know that the terms money and success are not interchangeable. They understand that people who are successful on a financial level only, are not successful at all. Unfortunately we live in a society which teaches that money equals success. Like many other things, money is a tool. It’s certainly not a bad thing but ultimately, it’s just another resource. Unfortunately, too many people worship it.

30. They understand the importance of discipline and self-control. They are strong. They are happy to take the road less travelled.

31. They are secure. They do not derive their sense of worth of self from what they own, who they know, where they live or what they look like.

32. They are generous and kind. They take pleasure in helping others achieve.

33. They are humble and they are happy to admit mistakes and to apologise. They are confident in their ability, but not arrogant. They are happy to learn from others. They are happy to make others look good rather than seek their own personal glory.

34. They are adaptable and embrace change, while the majority are creatures of comfort and habit. They are comfortable with, and embrace, the new and the unfamiliar.

35. They keep themselves in shape physically, not to be mistaken with training for the Olympics or being obsessed with their body. They understand the importance of being physically well. They are not all about looks, they are more concerned with function and health. Their body is not who they are, it’s where they live.

36. They have a big engine. They work hard and are not lazy.

37. They are resilient. When most would throw in the towel, they’re just warming up.

38. They are open to, and more likely to act upon, feedback.

39. They don’t hang out with toxic people.

40. They don’t invest time or emotional energy into things which they have no control of.

41. They are happy to swim against the tide, to do what most won’t. They are not people pleasers and they don’t need constant approval.

42. They are more comfortable with their own company than most.

43. They set higher standards for themselves (a choice we can all make), which in turn produces greater commitment, more momentum, a better work ethic and of course, better results.

44. They don’t rationalise failure. While many are talking about their age, their sore back, their lack of time, their poor genetics, their ‘bad luck’, their nasty boss and their lack of opportunities (all good reasons to fail), they are finding a way to succeed despite all their challenges.

45. They have an off switch. They know how to relax, enjoy what they have in their life and to have fun.

46. Their career is not their identity, it’s their job. It’s not who they are, it’s what they do.

47. They are more interested in effective than they are in easy. While the majority look for the quickest, easiest way (the shortcut), they look for the course of action which will produce the best results over the long term.

48. They finish what they start. While so many spend their life starting things that they never finish, successful people get the job done – even when the excitement and the novelty have worn off. Even when it ain’t fun.

49. They are multi-dimensional, amazing, wonderful complex creatures (as we all are). They realise that not only are they physical and psychological beings, but emotional and spiritual creatures as well. They consciously work at being healthy and productive on all levels.

50. They practice what they preach. They don’t talk about the theory, they live the reality.

So there you have it, your days of reading self-help books are done!

Okay, maybe not. I may have missed a few. Feel free to add a habit or two of your own to the list.

Very recently I was at a meeting of internet marketers, the kind you would call the GURU’s. It was a 3 day mastermind meeting; a lot was exposed in that meeting even those who are already successful were impressed at the content shared.

A lot of brain storming was done and new relationships built, but most of all was the fact that learning was easy, is the reason I am writing this today. To share with you the importance of having a mentor or a group of people you rub minds with to achieve success.

When getting into internet business, you hear a lot of promises and you receive a lot of “how to’s”

You and I know that you end up months practicing the information from all the HOW TO DO- and most times frustration sets in. A lot of people at this point give up and never look back. The next thing you hear is Scam. What a lot of people fail to understand is that as much as the internet promises miracles you have to put in some time and effort it does not come as easy as it sounds.just like any other venture.

Now there are three ways you can get to the top in your online business.

1. Get a lot of Free How To – and continuous trial and error- this will take you there but in a very long time, you are most likely to spend a lot of money and get no results, get frustrated and quit- Try it out don’t say I said.

2. Buy an e- course- Buying a course is good much better than all the freebies. What do most people do? They buy the course it stays on the shelf for so long till they lose the drive and just don’t bother. Internet business requires taking action as soon as you hear of an opportunity, and taking action to execute the process the opportunity offers for success. I know a few people who bought courses and they find out later, they still need someone to take them through the process of actually making it happen.

3. Mentoring- the process of mentoring means that an individual is practically held hand in hand and walked through the process of success based on the experience of the mentor. The mentor has made a lot of mistakes and knows the short route per say, the mentor now saves you the stress of going through the same mistakes. Working with a mentor who has done it and is successful is the way to go for your online business, save time and money and take your business to the next level.

You may ask how can I find a good mentor, it’s easy to find a good mentor, you need to be ready to be mentored and follow advice and recommendation made for you until you are able to make those decisions for yourself. A trick to know is when you find an excellent article, contact the author and ask for help. It is alright to show conscious incompetence, for your incompetence will soon become a conscious competence. Most people who have written articles are experts themselves or know and expert.

In summary if you are struggling with your internet business, don’t go with the crowd find a mentor you can build a good rapport with and be bold to ask questions. You are only a few steps away for your desired goal.

Wishing you Success

Hello all, like the title said this may not be for you but I thought I should share it probably because I am so excited about this new information. I was at an internet master mind group over the weekend ending January and I haven’t had proper sleep from researching the information shared with us. We had several speakers but one speaker blew us away. The youngest speaker just 27, he actually just turned 27.

I think the reason he worn our hearts was the fact that he was just so plain and simple no fluffs and straight to the point. He signed online live so we could see his account and have a rough idea how much his business was generating and this was not a screen shot, it was a live log in to several account and by the time he was done with his presentation, for another 30minutes or more the organizers could not get participants to seat still for the final bit, everyone wanted to have a chat with this young man, I managed to get a photo with him and I don’t know how I managed to pull that off with everyone around him.

He was asked to share with us on list building but he said on second thought he felt it was a waste of time since we had other speakers on the topic so decide to show us how to make our business work for us online and work well. He showed us the three principles to a successful online business.

Cutting my story telling short because I could go on and on, he introduced us to a system that would help us in building our businesses with ease , he didn’t claim it’s magic like every business you need to make an effort, As this product came up on the screen, the lady by my side said “oh my God I have got this product and it’s very good, I did not know he created it” And it was recommended to her by someone she met on an internet forum.

That statement made me relaxed because even though he showed us step by step how to use this product for success he could be just another internet marketer, sorry I can be a sceptic sometimes.

If you want to have a successful business, one of the best methods is to emulate someone who has already had the kind of success you want, and copy them.
This is more or less true of any business: Why re-invent the wheel from scratch when you can follow a path to success that you know has worked before? I have made this guy my internet mentor.

Well here is your website and I wish you success. Tools from this product can be applied to any Business.

Ps
There are 11 step by step videos and around 2 hours of live footage that you have access to which reveal the exact steps you can start using today to allow you to start generating huge pay days without the need of your own website.

PPS
Sign up for his affiliate program it’s worth it. I can say I have finally got an internet mentor.
